The short of it
I am an experienced software engineer with a master’s degree in Game and Media Technology from the University of Utrecht. Currently I am well underway into my second decade in the business. Way back in 2009 I started working as a developer for a small company specializing in serious games (combining several of my loves) and since then I’ve worked as a software engineer on complex projects in logistics and distribution, the energy market, telecommunications and banking. The last of which is my current day job, working as a lead Java engineer in the mortgage origination department of one of the largest banks in the Netherlands.

For the most part, that’s not what this website is about. The focus of my homepage is to put a light on the other loves of my life, with a primary focus on writing, as well as travelling, gaming and reading.
